Ribbon VIII  is the eighth in my collection of bespoke ribbon necklaces. Romantic and irreverent, each piece is slightly different and born from my love and obsession with antique ribbon, and is paired with sterling silver and pearls.
 
This piece is made with an antique deep burgundy-plum silk velvet ribbon. This beautiful ribbon is approximately 5/8" wide, and is paired with sterling silver, biwa coin pearls, and naturally ocurring cross-shaped pearls, as well as freshwater biwa stick pearl accents on the end.
 
The necklace can be worn as a choker or tied to hang long. It can be worn with the excess ribbon hanging in the front or the back. Note: the fourth image is not of the ribbon in question, but is provided for context for how the ribbon will sit on the neck.
